Welcoming New Workers from Abroad

Foreign Worker Information
W-K Trucking Inc. is looking to
hire foreign workers to fill the labour shortage here in Alberta. We already
employ 13 Romanian workers here and they came to Canada by paying a 3rd
party representative to assist them with obtaining a work visa. You may use a 3rd
party representative if you want but we are prepared to help you get your work
visa. This will save you money and will allow you to bring this money to
Canada to get yourself set up instead of paying a representative. We think
there may be people in Romania who would be very good workers but may not have
the money to pay someone to find them work in Canada. Please take the time to
read the information below and use the email link at the end to either send your
CV or ask any questions.

If your plan is to relocate your family to Canada, you must understand
that you will have to work in Canada at least 1 year before the company will
assist you in sponsoring your family. If your family is not prepared to
have you live away for 1 year, please do not even start the process. It
takes time to learn your job, earn and save money to be able to find your
own place to rent that would be able to house your family. We have sponsored
the families of all our current foreign workers and we do not charge to complete
the documents. We just will not consider it before the 1 year of employment.
Usually at the 1 year mark, the worker wants to travel home to visit and
then the visas are ready for their family to come at that time.
